About the Exhibitor:

The Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) is a statutory body established in terms of the Namibia Qualifications Authority Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996). The Authority is mandated to oversee and implement the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for Namibia, a national system that classifies, registers, and recognises qualifications within the country’s education and training sector. The NQA is responsible for safeguarding the quality, credibility and comparability of qualifications in Namibia. It sets national qualification and curriculum standards, evaluates and registers qualifications on the NQF, and accredits education and training providers to ensure they meet the required standards to offer recognised programmes. The Authority also evaluates foreign qualifications for recognition and advises government, employers, institutions, and the public on matters relating to qualifications and standards. Through its quality assurance, accreditation, and awareness functions, the NQA promotes confidence in Namibia’s education and training system, supports lifelong learning, and enhances national and international recognition of qualifications.
